Waiting in Paris

Published: 04 December 2010

Have a look at the atmosphere at the railway station in Paris yesterday. For the ones who are not currently in Europe and don’t know the weather conditions, let me explain that this time the waiting wasn’t cased by a strike like it’s usual in France, but by the snow.

Paris railway station Gare du Nord is full of people waiting at their delayed trains. European transport is literally paralyzed by the snow and freezing weather.

Everybody is trying to make the most from the hours of waiting.

White signes "delayed" or even "cancelled" by almost every connection. My connection to Brussels has been also cancelled, so I had to use a different train.
