Eiropas Savienības palīdzība attīstības valstīm
Though there is still little equality in the 21st century world, there are people seeking to make things better. The European Union is the biggest aid donor in the world, trying to improve the lives of people who live in developing countries. The situation in those countries is very difficult – there is often a huge lack of food; people suffer from famine and diseases like HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria; and there are few educated people. The European Union, with the help of its member states, is trying to make things better for those people – to make their lives worth living.
